0.3 Patch Note

Fixing stuff thanks to your feedbacks + improving the overall experience.

IMPORTANT FIXES

- Fixed Ressources soft lock where being in the negative would freeze your run. You cannot be indebted to someone though. Example: Having for some reasons -10 Golds at the end of the turn is not a problem. Willing to pay for a VIP Service with -10 Golds is, and at 3 attempts the Turn will end automatically.

- Fixed Invisible Waifus bug by preventing Companions to go beyond Party Frame X coordinates. If you manage to "lose" your Companion when dragging them around, they'll automatically come back to the Party when Ending Turn.

- Fixed Missions not working when loading Save. Getting Wa’Jiuni new missions after resuming your run was completely broken, now it's fine. Potential bug: You might get missions you've already completed in the past. Tell me if it does that.

MINOR FIXES

- The Inngirl Dialogue when dirty won't show "0" anymore. Also added new lines.

- Hero's sprite doesn't move too far up when clicking on him in Info mode.

- Companions won't reply to NPCs when they're K.O.

- Energy Shields (White Bars that indicate you've 50 Energy or more) sometimes were not appearing.

- Various Typos.

- Now, you can't retrieve a Companion from a Facility when Party is full (4 Companions already with you).

- Trying to fetch a Mission even though you've reached the limit used to break your first Mission.

- Clicking on a Hero Choice sometimes caused you to take a bath for no apparent reason.

- Can't drop Hero on invisible Move Arrows anymore.

- Swapping Companions slots will close the dialogue if you were talking to one of them.


GAME DESIGN - DAY TIME INFLUENCE

(Spoiler Alert: NEW HIDDEN MECHANICS)

Short King is about walking to a fantasy village and discover its people, its rules.
NPCs are not just random characters. They've a life and had one before you came around.
That is why I wish to improve immersion and reward insightful players with small changes that will define a new meta on the long run:

GENERAL:
- NPCs have different sleep schedules which make them unavailable for 6 hours. You can still enter and use their Facility. They'll automatically come back and greet you when they wake up.
- Shop Keeper and Inn Girl will greet less often (Dialogue Cooldown +1 Turn. Which means more time to build relationships).

INN: Nobody likes working at night, especially this lazy Inn Girl.
- Maybe that's why night shifts are paid better? (6+2 Golds)
- Don't order a room though. Eat/Bath/Sleep/VIP Service Prices all DOUBLE at Night. (Early Game: 1/2/3/10 Golds at Day -> 2/3/6/20 at Night)

POENADIGNA:
- When Prae is away, Poenadigna becomes stronger. Fetching a new Mission at Night will DOUBLE its future rewards (x2).

SHOP: Selling on the only marketplace around is good for business. Customers have needs with ups and downs through the week.
- Prices when Buying items change depending on the Day of the Week (Best discounts at Wednesday, worst buying price at Saturday).

CHURCH:
- Believers of Praestolatio like to gather at the church on Sunday. Meditate on that day will grant a bonus of +1 Book, Praying will grant a nice amount of Starforge! (96 Starforge. You can pray for the whole day if you're that kinda guy.)

GUILD:
- Free lunch for daring adventurers! Quests automatically refill Hunger by a small amount (20) when you start or continue them at 11 AM. This only works if Hunger is not already at 0, it's not charity.

POST STATION:
- The fastest man in the Kingdom loves it when his week starts off busy! It's like leg day for him. Pulls x 10 costs -10% (1440 Starforge) on Mondays.

FISHING:
- Going fishing at 11 AM gives you guaranteed Selling Goods and 1 Food Barrel (sun zenith = fish activity in cold season).
- BUFF Wood Cutting = should give Camping Sets more frequently, and now up to 2 max.
